Replication of Water Funds

With Grupo GEA from Peru efforts are underway to develop a water fund to protect water sources for Lima (Aquafondo) and replicate the experience to other cities in Peru. With the support of Ashoka and Mulago Foundation, EcoDecision increased its capacity to provide sustainable water management services, insure impact and scale up its efforts.

Together with FONAG and the Northern Tropical Andes Program of The Nature Conservancy (TNC), supported by USAID, water funds were established in other Ecuadorian cities and regions (Cuenca, Zamora, Espindola and Tungurahua).
